Next Day Animations Celebrates Earth Day

This Sunday, April 22nd is Earth Day in the United States. The holiday that started in 1970 is a reminder to take care of the world we live in, in order to preserve it for generations to come. Here at Next Day Animations, our responsibility to the planet is something we think about on a daily basis. But since we’ve never been known to turn down a reason to celebrate, we thought we’d share with you the ways in which our dedication to the planet is embedded in the work we do and how we do it.

We instated an Environmental Policy.

In Fall of 2017, we decided to get crystal clear about our dedication to environmental responsibility by way of a company-wide environmental policy. This included a commitment to reducing waste, conserving energy and promoting multi-modal transportation.

We make videos for organizations that are doing great things for our planet.

At next Day Animations we work with organizations such as Save the Boundary Waters, Piedmont Park, The Organic Center, Connectivity Conservation

Seed Savers and the Deschutes River Conservancy. These companies are doing some pretty incredible things and we are thrilled to be able to help them in telling their stories. Plus, we are proud to offer discounts to environmental organizations.

We’re in the process of becoming a B-Corp.

B-Corps are for-profit companies that have been certified to meet rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability and transparency. The process of obtaining this certificate has proven to be an enlightening endeavor, pushing us to look more closely at the ways in which our actions as a company affect the environment.

The Bike to Work Initiative.

All employees who bike to work receive reimbursement for bike tune-ups. This is an effort to encourage our employees to choose biking over fossil-fuel-burning ways of getting to work.

However you are celebrating, we hope you have a glorious Earth Day!
